Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

At Mobolift Technologies Private Limited, customer satisfaction is our priority. We strive to ensure a smooth and reliable experience for all users of our heavy construction machinery rental services. However, we understand that certain situations may arise where a refund is warranted. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are processed, as well as the conditions under which they are granted.

By using our Services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are typically issued under specific circumstances, as detailed below:

A. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

1. Cancellation Before Delivery:

A.1.1 If you cancel your rental order at least 5 days prior to the scheduled delivery date of the equipment/machinery, you are eligible for a full refund of the rental fee. Any non-refundable fees, such as processing or administrative fees, will be deducted.

A.1.2 Cancellations made between 5 days and 3 days before the rental start date will incur a cancellation fee of 40% , and the remaining balance will be refunded.

A.1.3 Cancellations made between 3 days and 1 days before the rental start date will incur a cancellation fee of 60% , and the remaining balance will be refunded.

2. Cancellation After Use:

A.2.1 Once the equipment/machinery has been used or the rental period has commenced, no refunds will be issued, except in the case of equipment malfunction, misrepresentation, or other conditions covered in Section 2.

B. Mobolift-Initiated Cancellations

1. Unavailability of Equipment:

B.1.1 If we are unable to deliver the rented equipment/machinery due to factors such as double-booking, equipment/machinery malfunction, or any other internal issue, you are entitled to a full refund or an option to reschedule the rental at no additional cost.

2.Delays in Delivery:

B.2.1 If there is a significant delay in delivery (more than 24 hours) caused by Mobolift or its partners, you may choose to cancel the order and receive a full refund or proceed with a discounted rate for the delayed equipment. The discounted rate will be determined based on the extent of the delay.

2. Refunds for Equipment Malfunction, Defect, or Misrepresentation

If the equipment provided/rented is not functioning properly or does not match the specifications outlined at the time of booking(images are only for reference purposes), refunds or replacements may be issued under the following conditions:

A. Reporting of Issues

You must notify us of any defect, malfunction, or misrepresentation within 1 hour of receiving the equipment/machinery. Failure to report within this time may result in a reduced or denied refund.

B. Investigation Process

Upon receiving your complaint, we will initiate an investigation to determine the cause of the malfunction or discrepancy.

2.B.1 Minor Issues: If the issue is determined to be minor and repairable on-site (e.g., minor mechanical faults), we will dispatch a service team to rectify the problem at no additional cost.

2.B.2 Major Issues: If the issue is significant and prevents the equipment from being used as intended, we will either:

  1. Provide a replacement unit of equal or better specification (subject to availability).
  2. Issue a partial refund for the time the equipment/machinery was non-operational.
  3. Provide a full refund if no replacement equipment/machinery can be provided within 8 hours.

C. Refund Calculation for Malfunctioning Equipment

2.C.1. If the equipment is used for part of the rental period before a malfunction occurs, a prorated refund will be issued based on the duration the equipment/machinery was operational.

For example, if the equipment/machinery was rented for 7 days but malfunctioned after 2 days, a refund will be calculated based on the remaining 5 days, minus any delivery and service fees.

3. Non-Refundable Charges

While we strive to ensure fairness in our refund policies, certain charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:

A. Delivery and Pickup Fees

Fees for delivery and pickup of equipment/machinery are non-refundable once the equipment has been dispatched to your location, unless the cancellation was caused by an error on our part (mentioned in section 1.B).

B. Administrative and Processing Fees

Certain administrative fees charged at the time of booking, such as credit card processing fees or service charges, are non-refundable.

4. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund under this policy, the following steps will apply:

A. Submission of Refund Request

You must submit a refund request within 2 days of the cancellation or issue. Refund requests can be made by:

B. Processing of Refund Request

Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 5 business days . During this period, we may contact you for additional information or to arrange for equipment return.

C. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the transaction. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to reflect in your account.

5. Force Majeure

A. Force Majeure Events

No refunds will be issued for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labour strikes, war, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, we encourage you to contact us to resolve the issue amicably. In the event that a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with the terms of the Mobolift service agreement, including arbitration or mediation procedures, if applicable.

8. Changes to this Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website. The updated policy will take effect as of the date specified in the notice. Continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Refund Policy.
